The Bath Spa Study of Religions Team makes final preparations for sailing to Seoul this weekend for the Summer Programme in Dongguk University in Seoul. In the past months, the team members have acquired required skills in technology in the film production in the Arts Work and Broacasting Lab at Bath Spa University. As a team, the members are making an effort to produce a DVD to capture the rich religious landscape in Seoul.

Fiona's Thanks to British Council
Professor Fiona Montgomery, Head of School of Historical and Cultural Studies, Bath Spa University thanks the British Council for awarding the PMI2 Connect Grant to enable five undergraduate students of the Study of Religions programme at Bath Spa to attend a month-long study tour and participation in the International Summer School to be held at Dongguk University in South Korea in July 2008.

Bath Spa Signs the Contract with British Council
Today Bath Spa signed the contract for the International Student Mobility Grant to enable Bath Spa Study of Religions students to travel to Dongguk University in South Korea.
This grant is part of the Strategic Alliances and Partnerships strand of the Prime Minister's Initiative for International Education 2 (PMI2).
PMI2 is a five year strategy launched in 2006 with the aim of positioning the UK as a leader in international education. This programme of support for Bath Spa increases the level of engagement and collaboration between the UK and Korea
